In recognition of National Bullying Prevention Month, our 6th graders wore orange on Unity Day to promote kindness and inclusion. This day is all about sending a visible message of commUNITY through kindness.. This past week, all middle schoolers have been participating in mini lessons and reflections focused on building positive peer relationships and creating a culture of respect.
7th graders in Mrs. Writt's geography class “went to work” making paper chains during an economics simulation. Students were provided different natural and capital resources, and earned wages (skittles) in various ways to simulate the different economic systems of the world.

Outdoor survival students put their skills to the test this week by learning how to safely build and maintain a campfire! They capped off the lesson by cooking up some s’mores and other tasty snacks. Great hands-on learning and teamwork out in the fresh air!

Sixth grade science students had fun zooming in on tiny worlds with microscopes! They looked at 🌼 dandelion fuzz, 🧅 onion skin, 🐟 goldfish scales, and various other organisms spotting cool patterns and textures hidden from the naked eye. 👀✨

8th graders in Mrs. Poquette's science class are diving into the world of chemistry! 🧪🔍 Right now, we're investigating how different substances react by observing chemical and physical properties. Students are acting as chemists, working to identify two unknown substances based on their reactions. It's an exciting hands-on experience that brings real-world science into the classroom!
The WIAA Coaching and Officiating class took over an 8th grade PE class to practice their reffing skills during live games.
