☀️🕖 Sunshine + Science = 5th‑grade fun at CES!
Mrs. Boris’s class headed outdoors last week with their handcrafted sundials, created from paper plates, clay, and toothpicks, to put their learning into action. Using the sun to tell time was a huge hit 💙💛

🌎 ♻️ Happy Earth Day from CES!
Our 1st and 4th graders rocked their outdoor trash cleanup on Wednesday. They showed great team work and respect for our environment. Thank you for getting our grounds clean up Cougars! 💙💛

🚔 Our 5th graders had an unforgettable adventure at the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department for their ACE graduation last week! 🚓⭐

From learning about SWAT gear and checking out the Dive Team equipment to watching a high‑tech drone in action, exploring communication tools, visiting dispatch, stepping inside the courtroom, meeting Judge Walker, and even learning how stenography works from the court reporter — our students got a behind‑the‑scenes look at so many parts of the justice system. They also loved seeing the armored vehicle and, of course, meeting the crowd-favorite, K‑9 Rip!

A huge thank‑you to everyone involved for going above and beyond to make this experience meaningful and memorable. And an extra‑big shoutout to our amazing School Resource Officer, Deputy Behm, who guided our students through the entire ACE program and continues to be a steady leader and role model for our kids. 🎉

And everyone was impressed with their creative (and very fun!) paper mache heads that were on display in the library. 🐾 OUR TAILS ARE WAGGING! 🐾
A massive round of applause for our incredible Student Council! And another HUGE thank you to our community for the incredible generosity. Student council organized and packed up all the donations and sent them off to our local Humane Societies to help pets in need while they wait for their forever homes. We are so proud of our students for showing such compassion and leadership.
