National Library Week

Ready, Set, Read, Library! National Library Week is April 7–13, 2024, and our school and local libraries encourage everyone in the community to visit the library to take part in the festivities and explore all our libraries have to offer.

Libraries give us a green light to experience something truly special: a place to connect with others, learn new skills, and pursue our passions through book clubs, story times, movie nights, crafting classes, lectures, and more. Our libraries offer a wide array of programs, classes and resources.

Readers are leaders. Almost all great leaders were readers. One reason they are respected and known for their wisdom is because they develop a healthy reading habit. For centuries, reading has been the source of inspiration, growth and new ideas. It is a valuable investment in one’s own personality with uncountable and long-lasting benefits. If you want your child to become a leader, encourage them to read. It will keep their mind healthy and productive. And then they will be able to impact the world in a better way. Ready, Set, Read!
