Letter to Cougar Families

Dear Cougar Families,

As we all prepare to take time off from school for Thanksgiving break, beginning on November 22nd through November 26th, we are grateful for everyone who has supported and encouraged positive daily attendance with their student(s) so far this school year.  We know student attendance leads to school success.

We are also thankful for:

  • Our students and their families who do their best to show up to class every day even when it isn’t easy

  • Our teachers who have gone above and beyond to help make school a welcoming learning environment where students can thrive

  • Our administrators who help us work together to ensure we have a sense of safety, feel a sense of community, and experience the excitement of an engaging learning environment

  • Our support staff and community volunteers who provide the extra hands and attention our children need

Please continue to encourage your student(s) to attend their classes.  Every day of school is an important opportunity for students to learn as well as build relationships and support with peers and staff.

Please, connect with the School Social Worker or Counselor if you need help or support with any attendance related concerns, food, transportation, housing, employment, your students health, etc.

  • Please make sure we have your correct email and the best phone numbers where we can reach you updated in Skyward.

Have a wonderful break!

Classes resume on Monday, November 27th, 2023.
