Todd Hencsik, Middle/High School Principal
Todd Hencsik

I want to welcome everyone to Campbellsport Middle and High School. I am honored to serve as the Principal and I look forward to getting to know the students and staff during the year.  We will do whatever it takes to deliver an outstanding academic experience for all of our students and we want our students to feel comfortable being at Campbellsport MS-HS.

I would like to offer a few bits of advice for our students and parents.

Begin with the end in mind.  Not everyone needs to get a 4 year degree, but a high school diploma with some post high school training is more and more important because global economy is tough on students who drop out.

Get involved with a school activity and make it a family requirement to get involved in at least one co-curricular activity.  Being in a co-curricular activity is correlated with:

  • improved grades

  • improved attendance

  • lower levels of drug use and teen pregnancy

Take the most challenging courses that you can handle.  That means different classes for different students, but college admissions officers use sliding scales to determine acceptance into their colleges and universities.  These admission officers routinely state that GPA is not the most important factor in this decision; rather, the number of challenging classes coupled with co-curricular and community service hours have more impact.

Attendance matters.  We want you to be here every day, because you cannot learn if you are not here. When students have frequent absences, they can have:

  • Poor academic performance

  • Become disengaged from school

  • Behavioral problems

  • Fail and/or drop out

Again, I am honored to serve as your principal. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at any time either by email at or via phone at 920-533-4811.

Thank you.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985 with a degree in Elementary Education, and I have served in public education for 30 years. Currently, I am entering my 16th year in the Campbellsport School District. During my tenure in the district, I have taught as a gifted and talented coordinator, an elementary teacher at Eden Elementary School, as a science teacher in the Middle School, and two years as a Dean of Students in the MS-HS. In 2010, I received a Master's Degree in Administration from Marian University. Currently, I am entering my third year serving as an associate principal in the middle school.
