Course, Career, and Curriculum Nights

As we near the end of first semester, preparation has begun for the 2016-17 school year.   Next year, we have new course offerings in several subject areas such as:  Math, Science, and Career and Technical Education.  These courses look to prepare our students to be more college and career ready.

Wednesday, January 6 and Monday, January 11, 2016, Campbellsport Middle and High School will be hosting Course, Career, and Curriculum Nights.  These nights will provide Campbellsport parents and students the opportunity to learn more about the courses and classes that will be available next year.   Embedded within the night will be brief presentations about each subject area and an opportunity for parents and students to ask questions with representatives in each area.  It is important to attend to learn about all of the courses that will be available next year and the increased emphasis of College and Career Readiness for our students.

The agenda for the night is as follows:

  • 6:00-6:45    Brief presentation in the Lang Auditorium.  Topics will include ACT, Aspire, and MAPs testing preparation and new/existing course descriptions.

  • 6:45-8:00    Question and answer sessions with each department in the Media Center for the high school and the commons for middle school.  This will be held cafeteria style which will allow parents and students the opportunity to converse with multiple teachers.

  • All teachers will be present during both nights.

We are looking forward to the Course, Career, and Curriculum Nights  and providing our parents and students information next year.  If you have any questions, please contact me at thencsik@csd.k12.wi.us or 920-533-4811.
